Carros elétricos são muito mais econômicos do que carros a gasolina ou álcool, quando se fala do custo por quilômetro rodado. Se optar por carregar o carro com energia solar, este custo cai ainda mais. Na simulação, chegamos a um valor de apenas 7 centavos/km, contra 12, quando o carro é carregado com energia da concessionária e mais que 50 para carros a gasolina.
